Day 193

Hello and welcome to the Skinny Bitch Vegan – Lifestyle.

Today during church service, we said goodbye to a young family, who are leaving to China Monday morning for missionary work. The husband spoke to the congregation, and said for the last two weeks he had been off his diet. The reason being, because he had been indulging in all the American foods and sweets he could eat, before he boards the plane to China.

Not surprising, considering historically China was a major center of Buddhism and the founding state of Taoism, two nature-oriented philosophies that promoted vegetarianism/vegan and low-impact living.

In recent history, many Chinese people were too poor to afford meat. However, today the people of China will literally munch on any little critter they can get their hands on.
