Hello and welcome to the Skinny Bitch Vegan Lifestyle.
Well, I survived Christmas and all major holidays this year are a thing of the past, except for New Years which is just a few days away. One of the primary roles I have partaken in as a vegan, since I do not drink much (only a red organic wine occasionally) is the “designated driver.”
Christmas day my husband had too much food, desserts, wine, and more wine so I was the taxi driver last night when we left my sister’s house. As we made our way home in the pouring rain my husband Greg laid in a helpless vegetative-coma state in the passenger seat. And our two sons and my mother-in-law, Pam, were seated in the backseat. Hayden my youngest son thought his dad had too much non-vegan food causing his stomach ache and said, “dad…you should be a vegan like mom.” However Pam, who is British, was explaining to Greg, “darling you really mustn’t drink so much it’s not good for you.”
Just before we pulled into our driveway I heard Greg mumble, “I think I will be a vegan all day tomorrow.”
